Community Conversations: Have Your Say on Huskisson Reserve

Whether you love kicking back at a family BBQ, donning your whites and tearing-up the cricket pitch or sharing sandwiches on a picnic with friends, Lalor’s Huskisson Reserve could soon be the perfect location for gorgeous, sunny days out. Here’s how you can get involved.
The City of Whittlesea is currently in the planning stages of a well-deserved upgrade to Lalor’s Huskisson Recreation Reserve. The project aims to improve the pedestrian accessibility, increase safety and create a more accessible community space as a social hub for local families and visitors alike.
Based on recent consultation with the community, the City of Whittlesea has already come up with some exciting improvement recommendations for the reserve. These include improving pedestrian and cyclist access into the reserve by constructing new 3-meter-wide paths; providing new picnic facilities including shelters, barbecues and seating for large families; and relocating and expanding the existing playground.
