Aston Homes – Extras In Abundance

At Aston Homes, we believe that some home features should always come as standard. This is why every Aston Homes build is packed with all the features people want right from day one. In today’s blog, Aston Homes break down some of these features, explaining why we choose to make them a standard inclusion – No up-selling, no-time wasting!

Tri-coloured down lights

Aston Homes designs include approximately 34 high quality down lights (dependent on your floor plan) throughout the home including living areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, laundry, butler’s pantry (if applicable), the front porch and even in the outdoor alfresco(excluding the garage). Where many builders include old fashioned batten lights to reduce the base price (then charge you extra to upgrade later), Aston Homes include tri-coloured LED down lights as standard.  Not only do you have the colour choice of cool white, natural white or warm white, but for a small additional change you can also make them dimmable to allow for mood lighting in areas such as bedrooms, the theatre room and meals area.

Porcelain tiles

Aston Homes include porcelain tiles as standard in our bathrooms and laundries. These tiles are robust, water resistant and perfect for those with kids or pets. If laid correctly, porcelain tiles can last decades with no damage or issues. Most builders tend to include ceramic tiles in their designs, which are more prone to chip and have a shorter lifespan.

Stone benchtops

Sparkling stone benchtops are another Aston Homes standard inclusion. As well as looking superb in the kitchen, bathrooms and laundry rooms of our designs – stone is long lasting, low-maintenance and durable. While most builders offer stone as an ‘upgrade’ in their home designs, their standard is usually a cheaper laminate and less appealing alternative.

Tech connect

Aston Homes standard inclusions also ensure you’re all hooked up when it comes to technology and communication. We supply your TV antenna, as well as multiple TV and data points across the build (dependent on the floorplan you choose)

Showers sorted

As well as a larger sized shower base, Aston Homes also include towel rails and toilet roll holders in our bathroom designs. We also include a high quality hot water service. These may seem like tiny touches, but when it comes to pamper time – it’s all in the details!

Perfect pantry

A spacious pantry is another Aston Homes inclusion in a number of our floorplans that lifts our kitchen designs above the competition. To add an extra level of ‘gourmet’ to your meal preparation, shelving and a bench are included in the walk-in butler’s pantry (dependent on floorplan).

Solid foundations

Aston Homes also include deepened edge beams as part of the foundations of our home designs. Although these are not a requirement on all homes, we choose to include them because they ensure that the foundations we build on are as stable as possible.  Unless they are specifically required due to the conditions of your land, most builders will charge for their inclusion – however, Aston Homes aren’t most builders!
