Aston Homes Explain: Your Points Of Contact
Transparency is at the heart of Aston Homes’ values – and that’s why we’re happy to share the ins and outs of our building process with our clients. Today, we would like to introduce the people who are a part of the Aston Homes building process. Read on!
New Home Consultant
First up, you’ll meet with our New Homes Consultant. They will spend time chatting with you to best understand what it is you’re looking for in your new home. They will guide you through our range of floorplans, facades and style options – you may even want to consider a house and land package! You will also get a chance to visit our Display Homes to check out the finished product first hand….
Next you will meet with your Client Liaison who will continue to be your main point of contact throughout your home building journey. From the day your file is received, your Client Liason will keep you updated and be on hand to respond to any queries you may have. From the start of the process to the day we hand over your keys, your Client Liason will be here for you.
Your draftsperson will work with your Client Liason to modify your floor plan design according to your requested changes and to suit your block of land. Once the final working drawing are finished and you have signed off on them, they will be the blue print used for the construction of your new home. These working drawings will not only include the framework but also positioning of powerpoints, lights, plumbing and all other fixtures and fittings.
Your estimator is the person who sources the quality products that will be used to build your home. They’re highly involved in the pre-construction stage of the building process and play an essential part in ensuring the pricing and logistics of your build come together.
If you’re looking for the boots on the ground, you’ll find them in the Site Supervisor. They’ll be managing the day to day construction process from start to finish including booking and overseeing the all of the onsite tradespeople. Your first interaction will be a coffee together at the start of the construction stage, then they will keep you up to date with developments, send you the occasional photo update – even walk you through the building site if you request it! Your Site Supervisor and Client Liaison work closely, so if there’s an update you should know about, rest assured you’ll receive it!
Director Of Construction
Aston Homes’ Director Of Construction oversees the whole building operation. They work behind the scenes with your Site Supervisor to ensure that deadlines are met, issues that regularly arise in the complicated building process are resolved and ensure that the quality of work is consistently high. Safety is of huge priority to the Director Of Construction also, so you can rest assured all of the relevant checks will be in place.
The Aston Homes team hope you enjoy getting to know the experts involved in the building process! Have questions? Our team are happy to talk you through any of your queries. We’re available to chat on 1300 060 908 or visit us at astonhomes.com.au.
